Last updated: July 25, 2026
1. Copyright Infringement Notice
NanoFlick LLC ("NanoFlick") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512, we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the NanoFlick service that are reported to our designated agent.
2. Designated Agent
Our designated agent for receiving notifications of claimed copyright infringement is:
William Youstra
NanoFlick LLC
187 Cervantes Rd
Portola Valley, CA 94028
Phone: 650-429-8030

DMCA Registration Number: DMCA-1070489
3. Filing a DMCA Notice
If you believe that content available on or through the NanoFlick service infringes your copyright, please send a notification containing the following information to our designated agent:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material (e.g., a URL or description).
- Your contact information, including your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
4. Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our designated agent containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, for any judicial district in which NanoFlick may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification or their agent.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not notify us that they have filed a court action, we will restore the removed material not less than 10 nor more than 14 business days following our receipt of the counter-notification.
5. Repeat Infringers
NanoFlick maintains and reasonably implements a policy for terminating repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. We apply a copyright strike for each valid takedown notice we act upon:
- First strike: the identified content is removed and we notify you with an explanation.
- Second strike: the identified content is removed, we notify you again, and your ability to upload or share content is restricted for seven (7) days.
- Third strike: your account is terminated.
A notice that is retracted by the sender, determined to be invalid, or successfully resolved through a counter-notification does not count as a strike, and content restored following a counter-notification is not counted against you. Strikes more than twelve (12) months old are generally not counted; however, we may still terminate the account of any user who shows a pattern of repeated infringement over time, and we may terminate a repeat infringer in appropriate circumstances regardless of the exact number of strikes.
6. Good Faith
Please be aware that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.
7. Other Inquiries
This DMCA policy addresses only copyright infringement claims. For other concerns, including violations of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service, please contact us at support@nanoflick.com.
