What’s a story template?▼
A story template is a guided shot list that tells you what to shoot, for how long, and in what order. When your team finishes shooting, the video’s done. No editing required.
What’s a Brand Kit?▼
Brand Kit (logo, endslate, caption style, share tags) auto-applies to every video your team makes. No manual steps. Brand Kit Studio adds video intros, outros, and background music for full production polish. Team plans include Brand Kit; Business and Enterprise include Brand Kit Studio. You can have multiple kits for different clients, projects, seasons or separate brand identities.
What’s the difference between Private and Unlisted?▼
Private story templates are only visible to your team. Unlisted story templates can be shared by link or QR code. A good fit for UGC campaigns where you want customers to use your story templates without publishing them to the library.
Can I add more Brand Kits?▼
Yes. Team can add 1 extra Brand Kit for $8/mo. Business can add up to 2 extra Brand Kit Studios for $8/mo each. Enterprise includes unlimited Brand Kit Studios.
Is there a free trial?▼
Yes. Every paid Teams plan includes a 14-day free trial, with no charge until day 14. The NanoFlick app itself is free to download and use; paid plans add private story templates, Brand Kits, and team features.
Do I need to install anything?▼
NanoFlick is a free iPhone app. Download it from the App Store. B2B plan features (private story templates, Brand Kits, team access) turn on when you log in with your account. No desktop software or browser extension needed. Team members can use the web dashboard to manage their account, story templates, Brand Kits, etc.
Can I change plans later?▼
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime. Upgrades are prorated; downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle.
What happens if I cancel or downgrade?▼
Your access continues through the end of your billing period. If you downgrade to a plan with lower story template or Brand Kit limits, your extras are archived, not deleted. You can choose which ones stay active and swap anytime. Your data stays yours.
How many people can use one seat?▼
A seat is one NanoFlick account. You can share one login across your whole team: set up a store account, put it on a shared phone, and anyone on staff can make videos from that one seat. Or give each person their own login for their own projects, one seat per person, usable on the store phone or their personal iPhone. Either way, video projects stay on the phone where they were created. Your story templates and Brand Kits sync to any device the account logs into.
Can I use NanoFlick with my existing tools?▼
Yes. NanoFlick exports to Mac desktop editors: a complete FCPXML timeline for Final Cut Pro, or an OpenTimelineIO (.otioz) bundle with your clips and timeline for DaVinci Resolve. Either way you get individually named and numbered shot files and SRT captions. You can also import shots, music, intros, outros, and watermarks from your phone into any video.
How is NanoFlick different from CapCut or Canva?▼
With NanoFlick, story comes first; style comes later. Those other tools are editors; they help you assemble and polish footage after you’ve shot it. NanoFlick is a guided camera app that removes editing. It starts with your desired story structure, and tells your team what to shoot, for how long, and in what order. When they’re done filming, the video is done. No timeline, no layers, no trimming. The result is a real story of real people in their own voice. Not an over-produced mash-up of clips.
Where are my videos stored?▼
On your device. NanoFlick works like a camera app: your video files stay on your phone until you choose to share or export them. NanoFlick never uploads your footage without your permission. You can also import videos and photos from other cameras or phones into your NanoFlick project. Anything in your camera roll or Files app is fair game.
