Settings and governance

Set access controls, manage team tags and your public profile, set an invite default, and manage your sign-in emails.

Settings is where owners and admins set the rules for the team. A few parts are open to everyone, like your own sign-in emails; the governance parts are owner and admin only.

Access controls

Owners set these (admins see them read-only):

  • Personal Space for members: whether members can keep their own personal templates. Owners and admins always can.
  • Author Credit: whether members choose the credit themselves, or it's locked to the organization only, or to the person only. Private templates carry no public credit.
  • Private template creation: all members, or owners and admins only.
  • Private template editing: all members, the creator and admins, or owners and admins only.
  • Brand kit on public templates: whether all members can apply a kit to a public template, or only owners and admins.

Team tags

Admins create team tags to organize and filter your templates. A tag can optionally seed a share tag, so choosing it adds a hashtag when a video is shared. You can rename a tag or archive one you're done with; archived tags stop appearing for new use, but templates already using them keep working. There's no permanent delete. See Team tags and Author Credit.

Public profile

Your organization's public profile backs the Author Credit that appears on public templates, and your page at its public address. Set a display name, a profile address, a logo, a short bio, a website, and social links. You can also hide the public profile entirely.

Invitations and your account

  • Set a default invite note that pre-fills every invitation.
  • Under Account, anyone can manage their own sign-in: add and verify email addresses, pick a primary, and choose which address you sign in with. Having more than one verified email is what lets a team invitation reach you at any of them.
