NanoFlick — Shot-by-Shot Video Guide
Use this guide to quickly create a video for TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, etc.
Create your own cocktail-party treatise using the pseudo-academic chicanery of the Gladwell Approach.
Shoot each of the shots and keep the duration to the bare minimum. We've included instructions for each shot to create a short, fast-moving video your friends and followers will love. When you're finished shooting, just combine all the shots and you're done.

Start with a soft voice and a big question: "Did you ever wonder why..." and explain your question. Then say "I'm Malcolm Gladwell and I'll be explaining it to you as if you were a <inser insullt like 'toddler'.>"
Tell a really stupid, melodramatic, drawn-out story illustrating the question. Dwell on the details. It should have a mystical, counterintuitive resolution.
Reframe the key surprise of the anecdote and ask the question "Why?"
Quote some made-up study from 1952, that shows some non-intuitive correlation as causal. Be amazed and expect your audience to too.
Now, use that study to explain your original question. State it as if it were a gift from the gods. Which it is. Since you're a god.
Wrap it all up in a bow, restating the initial question. Ask people to send other questions for you to answer.
Keep it short...
...then cut it even shorter. Usually under 90 seconds for a serious video; under 30 for a fun one.
Keep it moving
Make sure each shot has a point...and get to it fast! No fluff or filler.
Tell a story
Stories need structure. Make sure you've got a beginning, middle and end.
Know the audience
Family will watch a 2:00 video. Everyone else gets bored after 45 seconds.
Focus on people
Go easy on transitions, filters, etc. The best content is people relating.
Time passages
Use transitions like Dissolve or Dip-to-Black to indicate passage of time
