Inviting and managing members

Invite people, set roles, handle pending invites, and remove someone with an optional window to finish their work.

Owners and admins manage the team from Members.

Roles

  • Owner: everything, including billing, seats, the organization name, and transferring ownership. There's always exactly one owner.
  • Admin: invite and remove members, change member roles, and manage templates and brand kits. Admins can't touch billing or transfer ownership.
  • Member: create videos and templates.

Invite someone

Tap Invite member, enter their email, choose Member or Admin, and add an optional note. The invite goes out as a link (also usable as a QR code) and expires after 7 days. You can set a default note for every invite in Settings.

Pending invites are listed with Resend and Revoke. You can't invite more people than you have seats, so free a seat, revoke a pending invite, or add seats.

Change a role

Owners and admins can promote a member to admin or demote an admin to member. Only the owner can hand off ownership, which turns the former owner into an admin.

Remove someone

Removing a member takes away their access. Their personal flicks stay with their account, and any assets or brand kits they uploaded stay with the organization, still credited to them.

When you remove someone, you can grant a finish-and-export window of 7, 14, or 30 days. During it they keep read-only access to their in-progress team videos so they can export or share them, but they can't start anything new. You can extend or end that window early from the Finishing up list.
