In front of a vivid background (scenic site, travel hub or busy office), greet the viewer, say your name, your role and that you'll be sharing a bit about yourself.
Give a brief bio of where you're from, your professional history, what brought you to CRV, and what you love about the job
Why you chose to join Canada rail, vacations, how they're different, and why you recommend them to your friends
Show photos/videos of a favorite CRV trip as you describe it. Mention the profile of the guest, the site visited, and what was especially memorable about it.
Describe an upcoming vacation, or where you hope to travel next and why. If you want to show images/videos, flip the camera as you narrate.
Thank them for watching. If you're a guide, tell them you look forward to traveling with them soon. Otherwise, tell them you look forward to helping them find the best vacation for their next trip.
Keep it short...
...then cut it even shorter. Usually under 90 seconds for a serious video; under 30 for a fun one.
Keep it moving
Make sure each shot has a point...and get to it fast! No fluff or filler.
Tell a story
Stories need structure. Make sure you've got a beginning, middle and end.
Know the audience
Family will watch a 2:00 video. Everyone else gets bored after 45 seconds.
Focus on people
Go easy on transitions, filters, etc. The best content is people relating.
Time passages
Use transitions like Dissolve or Dip-to-Black to indicate passage of time
