NanoFlick — Shot-by-Shot Video Guide
Use this guide to quickly create a video for TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, etc.
Video gets better response than text, so send a customized video message WITH THEIR NAME in the title and share via email as an UNLISTED YouTube link. You can shoot this same video for multiple prospects at once. Do research on the clients beforehand.
Shoot each of the shots and keep the duration to the bare minimum. We've included instructions for each shot to create a short, fast-moving video your friends and followers will love. When you're finished shooting, just combine all the shots and you're done.

Introduce yourself and your firm. "Hi X, I'm Y and I'm reaching out from Z because it looks like we could help with some of your goals." Try to shoot with an interesting background. Be on-the-go or in an active place.
Everyone likes to hear about themselves, so tell them what you know about them, their background, experiences, accomplishments. Compliment them; relate to them; admire them.
Now talk about their company and their role in it. Mention something newsworthy and related to their publicly stated goals, and how that's why you're reaching out.
Describe your understanding of the situation or challenge that they're facing. Acknowledge that your perspective is as an outsider, and you'd love to chat to understand it better.
Show a very brief overview of a property or location that may be relevant. Explain why you think it might be a fit. Don’t oversell; you want to tease them so they’ll reach out for more.
Show a very brief overview of ANOTHER property or location that may be relevant. Explain why you think it might be a fit. Mention that you can find a few others after learning a bit more about their needs.
Describe your services and capabilities. It’d be best to do this in your office, walking around so they can see your operation.
Share the results you've achieved for other companies like theirs. It's best if the results are quantified numbers and/or the companies are in their category or big names.
Thank them for watching, summarize why you reached out. Add that you'd like a quick chat to better understand their goals, share some best practices from other clients and offer some new ideas.
Keep it short...
...then cut it even shorter. Usually under 90 seconds for a serious video; under 30 for a fun one.
Keep it moving
Make sure each shot has a point...and get to it fast! No fluff or filler.
Tell a story
Stories need structure. Make sure you've got a beginning, middle and end.
Know the audience
Family will watch a 2:00 video. Everyone else gets bored after 45 seconds.
Focus on people
Go easy on transitions, filters, etc. The best content is people relating.
Time passages
Use transitions like Dissolve or Dip-to-Black to indicate passage of time
Multiple angles
Using multiple short shots with different angles is better than one longer shot.
Start wide...
...then move closer on subsequent shot for the scene.
