Take your viewers behind-the-scenes, to see the equipment, ingredients, staff and care that go into every meal. Make it personal by commenting on special equipment or dishes, introducing staff, and sharing background or anecdotes, as well as tips for dishes and specials.
How to Make a Great Video
Shoot each of the shots and keep the duration to the bare minimum. We've included instructions for each shot to create a short, fast-moving video your friends and followers will love. When you're finished shooting, just combine all the shots and you're done.

Restaurant Exterior
00:06Introduce yourself and welcome viewers with a brief shot of exterior. Try to include signage. Make sure you mention the restaurant name and location, and that you'll be taking them behind-the-scenes.

00:04Show more of the interior. Say what the restaurant is best known for.

Kitchen Layout & Overview
00:06Now walk through the kitchen, narrating the layout and the different stations. Don't go into too much detail; this is just the overview shot.

Ingredients
00:08In the refrigerator, freezer or prep space, mention some of the ingredients, how you source them and what you look for. Mention the care taken in selecting them, and highlight a few dishes.

Prep
00:10Show the staff working on prep. Highlight the detail, precision and care. Introduce a staffer and have them BRIEFLY share their background and favorite dish.

Cooking
00:06Show the cooking process, again interacting with the staff.

Plating (1)
00:05Show a dish being prepared and completed before serving. Comment again on the attention to detail and the specifics of that dish.

00:05Show another dish being prepared and completed before serving. Discuss the special ingredients and techniques that pull it together.

Additional Kitchen Area
00:05Show another kitchen area and staff, perhaps pastry, dessert, pizza oven, or bar.

Closing
00:05Have staff around you in the kitchen if possible and say something like: "Thanks for watching! We can't wait to share our favorites with you and serve you up a great experience here."
Top Video Tips
Keep it short...
...then cut it even shorter. Usually under 90 seconds for a serious video; under 30 for a fun one.
Keep it moving
Make sure each shot has a point...and get to it fast! No fluff or filler.
Tell a story
Stories need structure. Make sure you've got a beginning, middle and end.
Know the audience
Family will watch a 2:00 video. Everyone else gets bored after 45 seconds.
Focus on people
Go easy on transitions, filters, etc. The best content is people relating.
Time passages
Use transitions like Dissolve or Dip-to-Black to indicate passage of time
Multiple angles
Using multiple short shots with different angles is better than one longer shot.
Start wide...
...then move closer on subsequent shot for the scene.
