NanoFlick — Shot-by-Shot Video Guide
Use this guide to quickly create a video for TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, etc.
Share a profile of a particular entree, side, appetizer or dessert. Make this while you have a sample available to shoot as a close-up, and as you enjoy it!
Shoot each of the shots and keep the duration to the bare minimum. We've included instructions for each shot to create a short, fast-moving video your friends and followers will love. When you're finished shooting, just combine all the shots and you're done.

Either in front of the restaurant or inside with a vibrant background, introduce yourself and say you'll be highlighting a great/special/favorite item from <restaurant name>.
With the item in front of you, introduce it. Use the menu description to set the stage. You'll be providing your OWN description in the next shot.
Place the dish on the table and shoot a close-up. while you describe YOUR observations on the ingredients, composition and presentation. Don't speak to to the taste yet - that's the next shot.
Now take a bite. Rest the phone on the table or have someone else hold it while you take a bite and describe the taste and your reaction. Have fun!
Say something like: "Thanks for watching! I'll be trying other dishes, so look for those videos too. And to try for yourself, check out <restaurant name> here in <neighborhood name.>"
Keep it short...
...then cut it even shorter. Usually under 90 seconds for a serious video; under 30 for a fun one.
Keep it moving
Make sure each shot has a point...and get to it fast! No fluff or filler.
Tell a story
Stories need structure. Make sure you've got a beginning, middle and end.
Know the audience
Family will watch a 2:00 video. Everyone else gets bored after 45 seconds.
Focus on people
Go easy on transitions, filters, etc. The best content is people relating.
