NanoFlick — Shot-by-Shot Video Guide
Use this guide to quickly create a video for TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, etc.
Share why you love a favorite restaurant. This is different than a review; it's for loyal customers to share their history and loyalty with a particular spot. Best if shot outside and inside the restaurant.
Shoot each of the shots and keep the duration to the bare minimum. We've included instructions for each shot to create a short, fast-moving video your friends and followers will love. When you're finished shooting, just combine all the shots and you're done.

Briefly shoot the outside of restaurant. While shooting, greet viewers, say the name, location and cuisine of the restaurant, and you'll be sharing why it's one of your favorites.
BRIEFLY share how you first heard about the restaurant, your first visit, and what got you hooked.
Describe the occasions that you visit: how often, what events, whether it's by yourself or others.
Now quickly talk about your favorite items on the menu. Be specific about why you love them and what makes them different. If you can, show an item as you discuss it.
Talk about the non-food aspects: the people, location, seating area, special menus and any accommodations for pets, kids, etc.
Add any other detail. If there's a specific server, kitchen or bar staff, or a weekly special, favorite dish or special event, highlight that. Then recommend that the viewer visit and try it for themselves.
Keep it short...
...then cut it even shorter. Usually under 90 seconds for a serious video; under 30 for a fun one.
Keep it moving
Make sure each shot has a point...and get to it fast! No fluff or filler.
Tell a story
Stories need structure. Make sure you've got a beginning, middle and end.
Know the audience
Family will watch a 2:00 video. Everyone else gets bored after 45 seconds.
Focus on people
Go easy on transitions, filters, etc. The best content is people relating.
Time passages
Use transitions like Dissolve or Dip-to-Black to indicate passage of time
