NanoFlick — Shot-by-Shot Video Guide
Use this guide to quickly create a video for TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, etc.
Showcase a new item, building excitement by showing its features, and inviting customers to see it in person. It's best if this is timely (a recent event or upcoming holiday). Use a variety of camera angles. If possible, have someone else shoot this so you can use both hands to demonstrate.
Shoot each of the shots and keep the duration to the bare minimum. We've included instructions for each shot to create a short, fast-moving video your friends and followers will love. When you're finished shooting, just combine all the shots and you're done.

Start with the box or packaging. Build some mystery about what's inside.
Show you outside the store, introducing yourself and the store.
Open the package and reveal the new product. Show it from a flattering angle. Describe the high-level: who it's for, and what problem it solves.
Demonstrate the product being used. If it's apparel, have someone model it. If it's a tool, show it working.
Talk to the camera about what makes this product unique and why you're excited to offer it to your customers.
Invite customers to come in and see the new product for themselves. Mention limited availability or special promotions if applicable. Thank them for watching and sign off.
Keep it short...
...then cut it even shorter. Usually under 90 seconds for a serious video; under 30 for a fun one.
Keep it moving
Make sure each shot has a point...and get to it fast! No fluff or filler.
Tell a story
Stories need structure. Make sure you've got a beginning, middle and end.
Know the audience
Family will watch a 2:00 video. Everyone else gets bored after 45 seconds.
Focus on people
Go easy on transitions, filters, etc. The best content is people relating.
Time passages
Use transitions like Dissolve or Dip-to-Black to indicate passage of time
